7 ELEVEN has listed Hugo Chavez's heroic speech amongst the reasons why it will stop selling Citgo Gas. In so doing, 7 Eleven has named itself an accomplice in all of the crimes comitted by the U.S. government against its own people and those around the world. I will be boycotting 7 Eleven and advising others to do the same until they apologise and remove that as a reason for switching. I also urge franchise owners to switch names or to become independent stores. You do not want to be identified with the crimes this government is committing against humanity. Since the U.S. regime is responsible for multiple attempted coups against Hugo Chavez's democratic election, he has the right to express his disgust for the U.S. Government and its leaders. I also applaud his help for poor Americans in the north where Citgo sold low cost home heating oil at a loss to prevent low income Americans from freezing to death. Also, we thank Hugo for the assistance he attempted to provide to Katrina victims when the U.S. Government was ignoring the problem. The Bush administration turned the much needed disaster assistance away.

One needs to consider, Hugo Chavez's comments may be intended to keep him in the lime light for the issue concerning self-preservation. Now that the American and World citizens know of him, he would be harder to kill or covertly ousted.
